DUTIES/QUALIFICATIONS

JOB PROFILE: (Brief summary of responsibilities and requirements)
- Provides administrative support including clerical, receptionist, and project based work.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE: (Functions essential to job)
- Perform administrative duties such as drafting, typing, photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing, and distributing letters and memos, answering correspondence, producing special reports, issuing check requests, maintaining hard copy and electronic filing system, completing company specific forms as requested.
- Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.
- Coordinate and maintain records for staff office space, phones, parking, company credit cards and office keys, student records, files, photocopy, open and distribute incoming mail, completing forms for purchase requests, etc.

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (Functions specific to an individual position)
- May collect and maintain PC inventory.
- May make travel arrangements
- May process and pay bills
- Take notes at meetings and prepare minutes as requested.
- Meet and greet clients and visitors.
- Sign for and distribute UPS/Fed Ex/Airborne packages.
- Setup and coordinate meetings and conferences.
- Maintain and distribute staff weekly schedules.
- Support staff in assigned project based work.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must complete Human Resources testing to include Word, Excel and typing.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum of three years current secretarial/clerical experience.
- Strong word processing, database and spreadsheet software skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently under general supervision.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol.
