Giving Thanks
As we gather together to give thanks, we become one in Spirit. Here's a few of our favorite Thanksgiving blessings to enrich your holiday meal. We've also collected classic recipes from the Unity Inn so you can share a bit of Unity Village with your guests.
Children's Blessing
We give thanks for this food that makes our bodies strong. We give thanks for the love of God that helps us be kind and loving to each other. For family and friends, for all our blessings, we say “Thank You, God.”
Family Blessing
We unite our hearts in a spirit of love and gratitude as we gather here today, giving thanks for family members near and far. We are grateful for the shelter of this home and for the bounty before us, all demonstrations of our loving God. We bless this food for the nourishment of our minds and bodies, enabling us to be a blessing to others. One in a spirit of God’s infinite goodness, we say “Thank You, God.” Amen.
Friends Blessing
We give thanks for our many blessings, this gathering of friends, for the love and joy and gratitude that unite us as one in Spirit. We give thanks for work and play, for this food that blesses our bodies, and for the infinite love of God that nourishes our minds and our souls. Amen. |

Unity Launches Internet Radio Network
Unity's new Internet radio program at www.unity.fm will blossom into a full-fledged network beginning Nov. 26. During that week, five new programs will launch: “The Leading Edge,” with host Mindy Audlin; “Metaphysical Romp,” with Rev. Paul Hasselbeck; “Spirituality Today,” a spiritual book club led by Rev. Jamie Sanders; a Bible discussion program led by Rev. Jim Gaither and Rev. Karen Tudor; and “Posipalooza: Music that Matters,” hosted by Richard Mekdeci, licensed Unity teacher.
