and people
Gary Hild, Unity executive chef, and Shana Casey,
Unity catering and conferencing manager, not only
have a history of success in delivering impeccable
food, they are both long-term members of Unity. Chef
Gary is a Certified Executive Chef with the American
Culinary Federation and was an executive chef
at Marriot Hotels. Shana worked with the executive chef at Hyatt Hotels with eight restaurants and a banquet hall.
"My mother taught me that 'good enough' never is.
You can always make food better, and that's my passion," said
Chef Gary. "My staff and I may taste something a hundred
times before it is served to make sure it is impeccable.
We want people to taste the love we have for them in
everything we prepare."
"It's all about the people," added Shana. "At a retreat
last year, a woman was allergic to garlic, and Chef
Gary prepared her meals without garlic and made sure
the food was as delicious as anything he would create.
